I just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after Tinka Bell so well. She is only young and had never been away from home but on arrival at TannerCats I knew she would be fine. It was lovely to get an update during her stay which put my mind at rest. When I collected her today she was so content and didn’t want to leave.

She is looking forward to another holiday at TannerCats in October. Myself and my husband were so impressed with the professional set up and service provided by Janine and Mark.

I would definitely recommend TannerCats to anyone.

This is the best cattery I have ever seen by far! Five star!! Janine and Mark have a fantastic set up. It was nice that they were more than happy to show us around the accommodation on offer before we made a booking and to answer all of our questions. The boarding area is kept very clean and the hygiene standards are second to none so Rupert hasn't picked up any nasty bugs.

As this was Rupert's first stay Janine was keen to welcome him in and to make sure that he settled in ok. He even had his own little picture on the door! The update texts were very thoughtful. It is great having Rupert home but it is very comforting to know that when we do go away he is left in safe hands.

See you in October!

We were so thrilled to see her so happy, content and wanting to show off playing on the big cat tree! She was so obviously very well looked after and loved while she was with you, and I'm sure you know what a huge relief this is to all cat owners. I've never known her so "chatty", she was telling us all about it - such a contrast to the last cattery she lodged with, makes us feel like the worst parents!!

We're already telling her that she's only got another 10 weeks or so before she can come back to "the posh cat hotel". Also, I meant to say thank you yesterday for the update texts we received - you're so thoughtful.

Having never left our cat, Oscar, in a cattery before and researching websites on catteries, we are absolutely delighted to say that after a viewing, we have never come across a more luxurious cattery than TannerCats. This cattery exceeds all our expectations and more and we could not wish for our cat, Oscar to be left in any better hands. The owners are very friendly and have created an excellent environment for the cats and have surpassed themselves in every possible area in a "FIRST CLASS HOTEL FOR CATS!" Most importantly you know your cat will be properly cared for.

For us, it is imperative that our cat is happy and that includes being loved and cared for whilst you are not with them but it is also essential that the accommodation is extremely clean and of a very good size; all of these are achieved at TannerCats.
As soon as we have sorted dates out for our family holiday, we will be in touch. Thank you once again Janine for providing a very impressive and fantastic cattery.

This is the best cattery I have found by far and our cat Petra has tried a few, its a very personal service and on our return Petra seemed very content just like she would be at home.

I am very happy with the service we received (and the text was very well received by a worried mummy!) so much so that this will be her residence for a month when we are away this year. Such a long time but I feel happy in the knowledge that she will be taken very good care of.

This cattery is outstanding. I boarded my cat India here for almost 3 months while myself and my family were waiting for our house purchase to go through. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this cattery to anyone.

The high standards that Janine has set for herself and the cattery are unlike others that I have come across. From the hygienic cat houses and cleanliness down to the piped music played to the animals, everything is well thought out and spot on. The cats are treated like Janine's own and she monitors everything with such a keen eye (and regularly reports back) that peace of mind is a given.
I will never board my cat anywhere else again.

As catteries go this is the crème de la crème.

TannerCats - a beautiful location, Marbles was obviously very well-loved while she was with you, and it was reassuring for the children that they received a text message from her while we were away.

You have clearly put a lot of thought into the place, and we were very comfortable about leaving our kitten for the first time in such obviously capable hands. It looked so peaceful and spotless and welcoming that our 8 year old daughter wanted to stay with you rather than come on our walking holiday!

I have always had fears of leaving my cat, Maggie, at a cattery due to previous experiences of her developing Kennel stress and not eating.
I would highly recommend TannerCats as not only did she come back relaxed she had also gained a pound or two in weight, proof she had eaten and been relaxed we are now able to go away without worrying, the only worry now is are we going to get her in this year!

"Have used the cattery twice now and Smokey seems to really like it. The food is good, she always eats anything Janine gives her and then absolutely refuses to eat anything at all when she comes home so I think this is a ploy to make you re-book so that your cat doesn't die of malnutrition.

The owner, Janine, is a bit strange, she likes to play ping pong with her guests and sends text messages pretending she’s them (careful it usually isn't, my cat just plays along) but apart from this its great, clean, efficiently run and I feel confident that my Smokey is very well looked after.”

"I was extremely pleased at how welcome we were made to feel on our first visit, and also very pleased with the location of the cattery, very quiet and tranquil, especially as one of my cats is extremely timid and wary of any loud and unusual noises, the situation was perfect for her.

The pens are also extremely clean with a good variety of bedding, climbing frames, scratching posts and toys.

I will definitely take my cats to TannerCats in the future."

"My cat Belle had a lovely 2 week holiday at TannerCats (aka Ritz for cats) last August. We picked the cattery because the new facilities were far better than any we've found and used in the area before.
Care was taken to ensure she had the food she liked and she thoroughly enjoyed the daily grooming she received, a service not matched anywhere else I don't think. Other nice touches included the photo card of her outside her room and the text we received half way through the holiday to let us know she had settled in OK.

She came home a happy cat and without the coughs and sneezes she has returned with from another local cattery in the past on occasions. This must have been because the levels of cleanliness were very good at TannerCats.
The service to humans was also very helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend the cattery and have every intention of using it next year.”
